There are thousands of organizations aimed at stopping modern day slavery and assisting victims. The following list is not meant to be exhaustive, but is a sampling of non profits working to make a difference.
Free the Slaves was founded in 2000 in Washington DC. The organization focuses on liberating slaves and changing the conditions that allow slavery to exist.

Anti Slavery International was founded in 1839 in the United Kingdom. It is the world's oldest international human rights organization.

The Global Modern Slavery Directory lists over 2,900 organizations around the world that are aimed at providing resources to stop modern day slavery and to aid those affected.

The Poloris Project works to prevent and disrupt human trafficking.

Fairtrade International promotes the lives of farmers and workers through trade. Although not specifically focused on slavery, the organization seeks to ensure that farmers and workers are paid a decent income. Over 30,000 products bear the Fairtrade label.

The 51 South Foundation is an organization working to expose sex trafficking and educate people of the dangers. The organization is based in Desoto County, Mississippi, where our school is located.
